For me joins are really important. Joins that are ill fitting cause snags and frustration. I love my Hiya Hiya interchangeables. They are smooth with soft cables, good joins, and no fiddly keys to mess about with.

I love my circulars. They were the reason I learned to knit. I tried it as a child, with the foot long straight needles and they were horrible. I saw a woman using circulars a few years ago and asked her to show me how it worked. I was hooked. I always wanted to knit and now I could. I also use continental because I also crochet and thats more comfortable for me. So... yay for circulars!

Hi,
I am looking for a new set of the interchangeable set. Can you recommend which brand of the interchangeable circular knitting needle that has soft and flexible cord? Now I got Boye (interchangeable set), the cord is made from plastic with clear color. When I do the magic loop the cord is quite a bit hard to bend to push back through the stitches. Once it was bent, the cord got white flaw at the bend position. I am afraid that If I have to do the magic loop again, the cord will break. It makes me worry because it is not possible to avoid bending if I have to do this technique.
Thank you very much

Circular knitting needles are my favorite types of knitting needles to use, because they are capable of doing regular knitting or circular knitting. I like to keep my options open.

Great Post!! thanks for the info.
I use circular knitting needs for everything. It also helps to knit in theaters, on the bus, etc. because you're not constantly jabbing people with the back end of your needles - circular needles don't go into other people's personal space.
